I am the kid in the family vacation pictures with her nose in a book.  I feel so fortunate to have followed my childhood passion and interest in storytelling into adulthood as an independent bookseller, literature and writing instructor, and editor. As for credentials, (passion can only get you so far :-), I have over fifteen years of experience working with writers in an academic setting as well as professional experience as a freelance editor. I hold a Professional Editing Certificate from the University of Chicago's Graham School and a Master's Degree in English from Montana State University.​ I have edited for academic, memoir, and creative non-fiction authors.
